I bought this one for my own Summilux 50mm f/1.4 — and once it was on, I never wanted to take it off again. I keep joking that I'd happily glue it in place. It has become an indispensable partner to that lens.
What I love most is the hand-applied black paint. It carries a deep, freshly-painted luster — something wonderfully alive about it — that I never tire of looking at.
I run a 52mm filter on the front, and it seats perfectly, with no fuss at all. More than just looking beautiful, it's a hood I can carry out and put to work every single day. For me, that's its real charm.
