Type 2, 62mm screw-in Natural Brass Edition for Nikkor-N 5cm F1.1
The first modern patented lens hood created specifically for the legendary Nikkor-N 5cm F1.1.
Crafted from solid brass and left unpainted, the Raw Brass Edition celebrates the natural character of the material.
Unlike painted finishes, raw brass will gradually change with use and exposure, developing a unique patina over time. Each hood will therefore age differently, reflecting its own history and the way it is used.
The interior is carefully finished to help reduce internal reflections while retaining the distinctive appearance of natural brass.
Designed for the Nikkor-N 5cm F1.1, the hood maintains the substantial proportions and distinctive presence of the OLJ Type 2 design.
Each piece is produced in small batches and individually inspected before delivery.
